Introduction: A storm surge from an approaching hurricane has destroyed fences and barriers in the zoo allowing the animals to escape.  The animals panicked and went wild! Some are swimming; some have found a precarious perch; others are??? The water is very high and rising fast!  The rain is relentless and falling rapidly! To make matters worse, the dam and levees are breaching! Soon, the entire zoo will be underwater and the animals will drown!  Can you and your animal rescue team save the animals before it is too late?

Objective: Zoo Rescue is a fun, exciting and entertaining cooperative game where your animal rescue team will work together to rescue the animals from the impending doom.  Your team must get all the animals to the safety of the boat before the flood waters drown them.

Garden Gnome

The best deck building garden defense game this side of Gnomomia

(gnome-ohm-ee-ah).

Some like to go adventuring in perilous dungeons.  Others enjoy an adventure by boat at sea.  While others…..well….wait a second.  If everyone is off adventuring, who is supplying the adventurers?  Who is tending the flocks?  Or better yet, who is taking care of the gardens?

Marvin’s Gardens are, once again, endangered!  Welcome to Gnomomia, where great adventure does await for those who dare take up a shovel, rake or hoe.  It’s not easy being a gardener in a land fraught with peril, both from the forces of nature and from evil creatures that roam the realm.  You are a great gardener! Yes, it is true! And that’s why you have chosen to enter the contest to become crowned the ultimate garden defender of the largest and most pristine gardens spread throughout Gnomomia: Marvin’s Gardens!  It will be your task to deploy your allies and resources to ensure the highest quality and quantity of produce so that others may be able to enjoy the fruits, grains, nuts, seeds and vegetables of your labor.  It is not an easy task. Nor, is it for the faint of heart as some gnomes and fairies spend a hundred years or more cultivating enough courage to take part in this quest.  But you can do it! You could even earn the coveted Golden Gnome to place in your own garden at home!  And, on top of that, you could be crowned the ultimate garden defender!

Introduction: A malevolent magic has befallen the gnomes. And, they want your home! Now, those pesky gnomes just keep coming... and some are more malevolent than others! Ay! Ay! Ay! They come during birthdays.  They come during special occasions like weddings and holidays. And they come when you least expect it! Oh, what’s the world coming to? Your home is being invaded! It’s true! What can you do to stop the threat? Can you work with your friends and family to free your home of gnomes before it is overrun? Can you terminate the gnome invasion?

Objective: Gnome Invasion is a cooperative game where players will work together to purge their homes of gnomes before the gnomes spell GNOMES.  Players must collectively cleanse 3 rooms for each player. Thus, if there are three players they must cleanse 9 rooms in order to declare victory. For example, in a three player game, one person could have 5 rooms, another 4, and another 0 as long as the total is 3 rooms for each player. 3x3=9

Of course, players will collectively lose if the gnomes spell GNOMES. You must not let this happen!

This was actually our first attempt at a cooperative game.  We only finished one scenario with it, which was pretty gnomazing!

Daniel and Marquis both earned the Game Development Merit Badge with this prototype. I hope to pick it up again in the future and develop it fully so that it can be presented to publishers.
